Kylie Jenner and Tyga made a date night out of Alexander Wang’s 10th anniversary show at the New York Fashion Week.

The designer showed off “Wang 10,” a capsule collection of 25 re-issued looks, and a partnership with charity organization DoSomething.

The Front Row (or FROW) was occupied by Kylie Jenner, Tyga, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, The Weeknd, Bella Hadid, and Lady Gaga.

Official:De Gea new contract with manchester united

The Spain goalkeeper was expected to move to

Real Madrid this summer but, following the bizarre

breakdown of his transfer, has now signed fresh

terms at Old Trafford

David de Gea has signed a new four-year contract

with Manchester United, with the option to extend

for a further year.

The 24-year-old Spain international, who arrived

from Atletico Madrid in 2011 was expected to seal

a return move to La Liga to join rival Real Madrid

this summer.

However, following the move collapsing on transfer

deadline day due to documents arriving late, De

Gea has opted to sign fresh terms at the Premier

League club.

United manager Louis van Gaal, who has opted to

play Argentina's Sergio Romero ahead of De Gea in

all four of his side's league games this year,

expects last season's first-choice stopper to enjoy

a lengthy career with the club.

"I am absolutely delighted David has signed a new

contract," the Dutchman enthused. "He is one of

the best goalkeepers in world football. I am very

pleased that he will be part of the team for many

years to come.

"David made a very important contribution to our

performance last season and he has been the

club's Player of the Year for the last two seasons.

Neco released 2015 examination results.

The National Examination Council (NECO) has
released the June/July 2015 results with a pass
rate improvement of 16 per cent.
The NECO Registrar, Abdulrashid Garba, who
announced the results on Thursday in Minna, said
that 68.56 per cent of candidates got more than
five credits, including Mathematics and English
Language, this year.
He said the 2015 result was an improvement on
2014 when 52.29 per cent got above five credits.
Mr. Garba said that 969,491 candidates wrote the
examination out of 969,991 who registered.
He said that 0.11 per cent cases of malpractice
was recorded, adding that the results of candidates
involved have been cancelled.
The registrar said that the council was able to
sustain its timely release of results in less than 60
days from the date the last paper was written.
“The 2015 examinations result was released within
60 days after the final paper. This shows a great
success achieved by the council.
“Lists of schools which were involved in
examination malpractice have been blacklisted and
the results of students who wrote in such centres
have been cancelled,” he said.

800 Nigerians killed during the 100 days of Buhari's presidency-Report

Buharimeter, a platform monitoring the
implementation of the electoral promises of
President Muhammadu Buhari, has reported that
about 800 Nigerians were murdered by the
extremist Boko Haram sect within the first 100
days of Mr. Buhari’s presidency.
The revelation is contained in a report issued by
the monitoring platform to mark Mr. Buhari’s
stewardship in his first 100 days in office.
The report said Mr. Buhari, in keeping with his
campaign promise, prioritized the fight against
Boko Haram in northeast Nigeria.
It said despite the president’s best efforts, there
had been several attacks by the extremist group,
leaving deaths, blood and sorrow in their wake.
“However, in the last 100 days, there have been
over 30 successful attacks and bomb explosions
which claimed the lives of over 800 people and
caused the destruction of properties worth millions
of naira,” the report said.
The platform however praised the President for
revving up the war against the terrorists.
“Right from his inaugural speech, PMB (President
Muhammadu Buhari) ordered the immediate
relocation of the Military Command and Control
Centre (MCCC), from Abuja to Maiduguri, Borno
state,” the report said.
“Since then, the administration has rejigged the
Nigerian counter terrorism architecture with
interventions ranging from the forging of regional
and international alliances to the appointment of
new security chiefs with a marching order to end
the insurgency within three months to improved
security spending,” it said.
The report also said the new administration
boosted the morale and welfare of security agents
as soon as it came into office.
It said within 100 days, the Nigerian Army
reinstated 3,032 officers and military personnel
convicted by a General Court Martial for offences
committed while fighting the insurgents.
The government, it added, also offered
scholarships to the children of slain officers and
monetary compensation to their families.
“More so, apart from the immediate release of
N5billion to bomb victims upon the directive from
the President, Nigeria has received financial and
technical supports from countries like China, Israel,
USA, Switzerland, etc., and from the United Nations
(UN) as well, to improve the victims’ economic
and social conditions.
“The recent recapturing of the towns of Dikwa and
Gamboru Ngala from the insurgents, reports of
unsuccessful Boko Haram attacks, and the rescue
of some kidnapped persons from the den of the
insurgents by the Nigerian Military are positive
signals towards ending the insurgency.
Regarding the fight against corruption, Buharimeter
rated four of the 13 promises made by the
president as ongoing.
It said immediately after inauguration, the
President and his deputy opted for a 50 per cent
percent pay cut as part of their commitment
towards reducing the cost of governance.
The report also noted that “In its bid to block
leakages, the administration established a single
treasury account for all federal revenues.
“To institutionalise accountability within the
Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), the
President gave directives that civil servants must
henceforth respond to the auditor’s queries within
24 hours; and all pending queries must be
responded to within 30 days.
“To strengthen his fight against corruption, a
seven-member Presidential Advisory Committee
against Corruption headed by Professor Itse Sagay
(SAN) was constituted to advice the administration
on the prosecution of its anti-corruption war.”
The report added that the anti-corruption bodies,
notably the Economic and Financial Crimes
Commission, and the Independent Corrupt
Practices Commission, have in the past 100 days
embarked on a renewed fight against corruption.
It said several foreign nations also committed to
helping Nigeria locate and retrieve stolen assets,
while the federal government appointed
PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) and KPMG to
conduct forensic audits into the accounts of all
revenue-generating agencies of the government.
Buharimeter lamented the attempts to distance Mr.
Buhari from several of his campaign promises.
It recalled that the president’s spokesperson, Femi
Adesina, tried to argue that the president never
promised to make public his assets and liabilities,
but that it was his party, the APC, that made the
commitment.
“His assertion generated a lot of public backlash,”
the report said.
The report, however, added that, the president and
his vice eventually provided details of their
declared assets and liabilities via a press
statement by another presidential spokesperson,
Garba Shehu, on the 98th day of the
administration.
Buharimeter also assessed the president’s
performance in infrastructure, oil and gas,
agriculture, environment, Niger Delta affairs,
employment and foreign policy.
Following its findings, Buharimeter made some
recommendations to the President.
— That he must constitute a cabinet to assist him
in his responsibility for the smooth and effective
running of the government on a day-to-day basis
within the coming weeks.
— That the government immediately unveil its
policy directions.
— That the President should urgently articulate a
“Marshal Plan” to address security challenges
posed by terrorism, ethno-religious violence, rural
banditry, kidnapping, amongst others.
— That the President should direct his efforts to
implementing policies and programmes for
employment generation.
— That efforts should be directed to the education
sector, particularly in the areas of capacity building
for unemployed youth, through vocational training.
— That the President take urgent steps to
implement the other 197 unrated promises.

[UPDATED] Seven die in Lagos fire incident

No fewer than seven people have died in a fire incident in Obele Lawanson Community, Surulere area of Lagos State.

The PUNCH learnt that only a six-year-old girl survived the fire accident.

She was said to have been rushed to the emergency ward of the Gbagada General Hospital, while the the remains of the other victims were deposited in a morgue.

The Director of the Lagos State Fire Service, Rasak Fadipe, said the agency could not tell why the casualty figure was high, as the fire only affected some parts of the house.

Fadipe, who said the state’s fire service responded to 12 fire disasters over the night, explained that there was need for increased vigilance among residents.

“We are still at a loss over why the casualty was that high because the fire itself was not that severe. The kitchen was not affected, so nobody can explain why it was that serious. The survivor was rescued from the bathroom,” he said.

'My 95-yr-old grand mother begged me for sex'- 32-yr-old man

A man who raped his grand mother has now been arrested and charged.

A 32 year-old Zimbabwe man accused and charged with raping his 95-year-old grandmother, left the court presided by speechless when he confessed that it was the aged woman who actually proposed love for him and begged him for sex.

The man from a village called Mbizha in Jambezi, told the Hwange regional magistrate Dambudzo Malunga:

"Your worship, I did not rape my grandmother but she asked me to have sexual intercourse with her after proposing love to me saying that she had been alone for a long time following the death of my grandfather.

When I refused, she literally begged me, saying she felt she could still perform like a young woman regardless of her age. I was left with no choice but to help her out seeing that she really wanted sex."

The court had heard that the man had, between June 1 and July 5, went to his grandmother's hut in the dead of night and forcefully had sexual intercourse with her while she was sleeping.

After the act, he fled the scene and in the morning, the grandmother informed her younger sister of the rape but did not reveal the identity of the perpetrator.

Sometime during the same month, the grandson raped the old woman again but this time around, she yelled for help, resulting in her grandson fleeing into the darkness.

Not yet done, he pounced again at around midnight at another date but this time, dragged his grandmother into a nearby bush where he stripped her naked and raped her. He threatened to kill her if she told anyone of the rape before leaving her to spend the whole night in the bush.

When villagers found her the next morning, she lied that she had got lost fearing that if she revealed what had transpired her grandson would fulfill his threats.

His cup became full when he became bold and told his grandmother he would be coming to have sex with her again  and the woman immediately sought refuge at her sister's house after he had left, telling the sister she was avoiding someone who was troubling her.

The sister had to involve the village head who cajoled her to divulge the identity of the rapist and he was apprehended and handed over to the police.

Man, 25, finds wife naked in bed with his father-in-law, gets stabbed

A man in Oakland County was stabbed after he discovered his wife in bed with her own father.

The suspect,Henry Allen Micheal



The 25-year-old victim came home to find his wife and his father-in-law lying naked in bed together.

He woke his father-in-law up, and what followed was an argument which continued outside. Henry Allen Michael of Detroit, then allegedly stabbed his son-in-law in the back with a knife and drove away in the victim’s vehicle.

The victim was taken to the hospital and treated for a non-life threatening stab wound that may have perforated his right lung.

As for the victim’s wife, she said that she did not know anything had happened until her husband woke her up. She and her father had been out drinking, and she said that she passed out when they returned home.

When she was questioned, she said that she had reason to believe she was sexually assaulted and was examined by hospital staff.

At the time of the stabbing, Michael was staying at the victim’s house after having been released from prison. He has since been arrested and is being held at the Oakland County Jail.

The investigation into this incident is still ongoing.
